Fall into Math with this upper grade math review bundle to reinforce place value and problem solving skills in upper grade math in a way that your students will LOVE to complete!
Place Value Candy Corn takes you through standard, written, and expanded form with each panel focussing on a different number – one answer is given, and from there, students need to write their answers in the blank sections. For example, if the number is written in words, students need to fill in the standard form of the number, as well as the expanded form (both a US and a Canadian version are included).
Pumpkin Pie Problems will have the students answering 6 different word problems, all with a pumpkin pie theme. Math concepts include: elapsed time, fractions, money, decimals, and operations – addition, multiplication, and subtraction.
Both craftivities result in a 3D product that is perfect for display in the classroom or home. Students will LOVE the final result! Blank templates are provided for both so you can add in your own questions, if you wish. You can also use the blank template included to create a cover if you wish to make flipbook instead of a 3D craftivity.
Each activity includes an answer key as well as a rubric for formative or summative assessment.
