Product Description
Looking for an engaging music activity for your elementary music lesson that will reinforce aurally identifying rhythmic patterns utilizing eighth notes, quarter notes and quarter rest? This digital resource is an excellent addition to your fall music lesson plans or anytime you are working on reading music. Fun music game for the entire class, music sub tub or music centers! An engaging music activity to add to your Orff lessons and Kodaly lessons around Halloween or in the month of October.

The product is included in a bundle. Click on the product link or the preview button for additional details. Consider purchasing the bundle to save money!

The product contains 15 student interactive game slides (created with PowerPoint 2013 tested on 2010). Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on Dracula to hear a rhythmic pattern. They will then click on the answer that matches the rhythm they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they were able to determine which rhythm was played or if they need to listen again. There are 6 slides working with one measure examples and 9 slides working with 2 measure examples. Watch their eyes as Dracula dances when they are correct! The product works well with Smartboards! Students just have to touch the board to activate the animations.

An excellent observation or assessment tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.
