(Note: Each lesson is designed to last for approximately 45 minutes.) Lessons include the following sections: Objective, Warm-Up, Anticipatory Set, Model, Guided Practice, and Independent Practice. Lessons include various combinations of song, game, and activity ideas. ALL OF THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT THESE LESSONS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS PRODUCT. THIS INCLUDES WORKSHEETS, SONG NOTATION, POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS, AND WARM-UPS. The only exception to this is the song “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire. You will need to download this song from Amazon or play it off YouTube for one of the K/1 activities. You will also need a few basic materials for some of the games mentioned in the lessons including paperclips, pencils, paper, tape, plastic cups, and dice. For the 2nd/ 3rd grade bucket drumming activity, you can use drums or chairs if you do not have access to buckets

K/1st Grade Fall Lesson Plans ($10 value)

This set was designed to be appropriate for kindergarten or first grade music students. If using it with kindergarten, you may need to spend more time on certain concepts (such as proper use of instruments, and understanding iconic notation)

This set was designed to be appropriate for second or third grade music students. If using it with second grade, you may need to spend more time on certain concepts (such as the proper use of instruments, performing rhythms, and identifying melodies)
