A great hands-on experiment for science. While we discovered the seasonal changes in fall my students were engaged in a collaborative experience. I had just as much fun as my students!
My students really enjoy hands on science experiments and this one was no different. They really enjoyed seeing how the leaves have colors that you can't always see in them.


In this resource, there are materials and resources to explore and study how the amount of sunlight in different seasons impact how and if leaves change color. Students explore the question – Why do leaves change color? after hands-on opportunities for exploring and observations.
