These grammar worksheets are PERFECT fall speech and language activities! Work on subordinating conjunctions and coordinating conjunctions with these Halloween and Fall Theme no prep speech and language therapy worksheets!

I have SO many upper elementary students with IEP goals that target creating sentences with coordinating conjunctions and subordinating conjunctions! These no prep speech and language Fall and Halloween theme grammar worksheets have been tested in my room with great success. I KNOW your upper elementary students will love these fall speech and language activities too!

Fall speech and language activities included:

Subordinating Conjunctions Explanation Page: use this to explain what subordinating conjunctions are, and provide examples for your student. This page can be used as a reference when completing creating sentences grammar worksheets.
(3) Subordinating Conjunctions worksheets that focus on “when”, “while”, “before” & “after”. The student is asked “When” question, and must answer that question using a complete sentence and the provided conjunction.
Example answers are provided.
(3) Subordinating Conjunctions worksheets that focus on “if”, “in case”, & “unless”. The student is asked a Wh question, then must respond using the provided conjunction in a complete sentence. Example answers are provided.
(4) Subordinating Conjunctions worksheets that focus on “because”, “since”, “so” & “so that” (causal connectors). The student is asked a “Why” question, then must answer that question using a complete sentence and the provided conjunction.

Coordinating Conjunctions Explanation Page: use this to explain what coordinating conjunctions are, and provide examples for your student. This page can be used as a reference when completing creating sentences grammar worksheets.
8 Coordinating Conjunctions worksheets are provided.
-4 Total Grammar Worksheets specifically target “and”, “so”, “or”, & “but”.
There are (2) picture scenes per level. Level one requires the student to connect sentences using the correct conjunction. Level two requires the student to create a sentence using the targeted conjunction and the provided picture scene. Answer keys are provided for the level one worksheets, and can also be used as example answers for level two.
-4 Total Grammar Worksheets specifically target “nor”, “for”, “yet”, & “so”.
There are (2) picture scenes per level. Level one requires the student to connect sentences using the correct conjunction.
