Your classroom is sure to be a fall festival of writing fun with this resource! This literacy pack includes 32 printables, and will compliment your fall thematic study of fiction or non-fiction literature. It will also help your students review and improve their rhyming skills for long and short vowel patterns! Literature links, music, and movement ideas are included as well.
These activities can be used in a variety of ways to differentiate instruction, with your ready writers composing rhyming sentences and poems of their own, and your reluctant writers working with a partner or in small group to brainstorm rhymed lists of words.
*A black ink set of 13 pages is included with 12 different spelling patterns, and can be printed and stapled into a student booklet for individual practice.
*A color ink set of the same 13 pages is also included and can be either laminated or put in plastic sheet protectors for partner practice at a literacy station.
*Six different blank writing sheets for students to compose rhyming sentences or poems of their own about autumn are also provided.
