Provide or Conquer?
In this game that simulates the decisions leading to the Fall of Rome your students take on the role of rulers. They decide when to grow their population and when to pacify the population through government support. They will experience the difficulty faced by the Roman Emperors in trying to expand while keeping the people happy.
Students are faced with making decisions about many major events from Rome's history including Julius Caesar's assassination, Constantine's movement of the capital and Nero's persecution of the Christians.
The game is fully animated and all sounds, images and videos are either public domain or creative commons licensed. Reselling any part of the game would be way uncool. Playing the game with your students, however, would make you very cool.
