This is a mind-map project which reqiures students to determine the ten key events that led to the Fall of Rome in 476CE and "map" out how each event led to the following. The project requires them to not only visualize and draw an image for each event, but to include a brief description for each event. It is a great wrap-up project for a unit on the Fall of Rome and can be used as a formal assessment at the end of a unit.
Included in the directions are a rubric and example of a student project from previous years to demonstrate the way it should be completed. This is a great project to combine with the Fall of Rome Guided Notes that are posted on the WorldHistoryTeach store at TpT as well.
