PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This assignment is to be used after students have read Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher."

Alfred Hitchcock was heavily influenced by Poe's stories. His most famous movie, Psycho, was loosely based off of Ed Gein, but many of the themes he pulled for the movie were based on themes found in "The Fall of the House of Usher."

This is a worksheet that lists the similar themes and then students fill in the chart explaining how each is exemplified in the two works. This chart could be a pre-write for a paper comparing and contrasting Hitchcock's and Poe's themes.
