I use this worksheet with my second graders to help them create their own rhythms using ta and ti-ti. We first go over the pictures at the top of the page and determine if they are 1 or 2 syllable words and draw a ta or ti-ti on the line underneath each picture. Then they get to choose which order to put the words in the boxes. The bottom half of the boxes is where they write the word, the top of the box is where they draw a ta or ti-ti (see answer key). When they have completed the first side of the page, they come up to me and speak the words first and then ta and ti-ti. On the back is an extension of the assignment where they can use other words.
