How to use this resource
All of the LMO lesson plans use the following abbreviations!
st. bt.=steady beat
The top of the lesson plan shows the main concept(s) being taught and how they are used! The highlighted text at the top shows which elements are covered with the listed concept(s). The text box with the blue text lists the learning targets (or objectives) written as “I Can” statements! The “I Can” statements are written from the view point of the student! These are the actions/skills that the student will accomplish through this lesson!
When there is an accompanying PowerPoint slideshow, the lesson plan will list the slides for the appropriate time in the lesson. Note that most of the PowerPoint presentations are slideshows, which means that it will start as soon as you click on it and it is not editable!
