This graphic organizer goes with my free "Fallacies Introduction" presentation that familiarizes fallacies that students may find or use in argument essays. Students will take notes on the fallacies, work with a partner to figure out which fallacy goes with which example, and there is an argumentative practice prompt for students to follow.
The presentation includes ad hominem ("the man"), faulty cause, false dilemma, guilt by association, and the loaded question fallacies. Each fallacy is followed by a definition and example. The last section of the presentation calls for student participation (individual or partners) in determining the fallacy that the situation presents.
