Students will love this tech friendly shape graphing game! They simply pick one of 31 (!) cards, scan the QR code with an iPhone, iPod, iPad, or similar device, a picture of a real-life object appears, then they graph what shape it is. Honeycombs for hexagons, pizzas for circles, etc. The following 2D shapes are included and match the kindergarten common core- Circle, Square, Triangle, Rectangle, Hexagon.
Students can work alone, with partners, or in groups. If working together, they can practice their oral language skills by naming the shape and discussing how many sides, vertices, and angles.
Print the student answer sheet (page 1) and then print the cards on cardstock. Print in black and white on different fall colors. Chop them apart (and laminate if you choose) and you're ready to go!
Can be used in any language, as there is no text for students to read.
