Students love this geography game! The game is a great way to introduce a unit on geography. I divide students into 2 or 4 "families" based on class size. I have 1 from each team come up front for a face off. They are looking for the top answers on the board. If a team gets 3 strikes the other team(s) get a chance to steal one of the remaining answers on the board. The game was difficult to create using a ton of links in a PowerPoint format. I print the slides to use as I "host" the game in class so I know what number to click when students give an answer that appears on the board. The game includes 9 rounds consisting of things like most populated states, longest mountain ranges in the world, most visited US tourist attractions, most populated cities in the world...etc. This is a student favorite every year. Have fun!
