Are you looking for a way to build student interest in history? Since every family has had unique experiences, Family History Interviews are a great way to connect the lives of your students and their family members to history.
The Family History Interviews contains two family history research projects. The research necessary to complete the first project is done by interviewing family members about what each student wants to know regarding their family's history. The second project, while similar to the first, requires that each student inquires about a family heirloom or old family photograph.
Your students will enjoy sharing what they discovered while everyone learns what a rich variety of experiences exist amongst your students' families.
