    Description

This complete K - 5th escape game bundle will take the stress out of planning a school-wide family reading night. This is a hands-on learning experience for families.

Your students are lost in the land down under, Australia. They'll have fun with their families while learning facts about Australian animals and landmarks. Editable flyers, tips, and directions are included to make your family reading night a success.

Do we need locks and boxes?

This can be done with OR without locks and boxes. But of course, kids love locks. If you choose to go with locks, each grade level will need a four-letter word lock. I've made sure that each of the code words will work on these types of locks.

    How long does it take?

Each grade level should take no longer than one hour. If you have fast escapers, let them complete the challenge for the next grade level up if you have time.

Can my school use this again?

Sure. The students will be in a different grade next year plus you'll have students that are new to your school.

Do you have other themes for family reading night escape games?

Yes! Besides Australia, I have space, rainforest, and ocean-themed escape games.

Is there an escape game for 6th grade?

If you have 6th grade at your school, they can do the 5th grade escape game.

What if I can't get my whole school on board with a school wide escape? Can this be used for one grade level?

    Absolutely.

Do you have any tips on how to prepare all the games?

I'm so glad you asked. I would let each grade level be responsible for preparing their own challenges. The family reading night committee or coordinator should be responsible for the general set up and planning any extra activities that you want to do, like crafts and snacks. I would also strongly encourage each grade level to decorate for the theme. Dressing up for the occasion is always fun!

The escape games in this bundle can be purchased separately.
