This is an at-home project for students to work on with their families! Their "mission" is to disguise a snowman or a gingerbread man to hide him from Mother Nature, or to keep him from getting eaten! Students work with their families to creatively disguise their cut-out using whatever materials they have at home. We have done this project for two years now, and our families have loved it! We have parents already asking about this year's project at the beginning of the school year.
This packet includes...
- 4 copies of a letter to go home to families: A snowman letter and a gingerbread man letter (one in fancy font, and one in "century gothic")
- Two pages of photos of our class creations from last year for inspiration
- Three cut out options - two snowmen and one gingerbread man
- A speech bubble cut-out and a thought bubble cut-out for a possible writing extension (in English or French!)
As always, please do not hesitate to offer any feedback or suggestions! Happy disguising!
