In this game students try to match family portraits into the family tree by reading clues in Spanish. The set includes flashcards for the words of family members including yo, el hermano, la hermana, el padre, la madre, el tio, la tia, el abuelo, la abuela, el primo, la prima, el bisabuela, la bisabuela. The cards are color coded according to the family member. If you change the Yo card from the daughter to the mother, there are the additional vocabulary cards of el esposo, la cunada, el cunado, la suegra, el suegro, la sobrina and el sobrino. You can use the vocabulary cards to teach the words for the family members when not playing the game. You can also use the portait pictures for other activities where you might need to use them to represent certain subject pronouns, telling stories or simply for describing in the target language. To make the game you print (preferably onto light weight card stock) laminate (for long term use) and magnitize.
