I use an activity similar to this in almost every unit.
First, copy pages 1 and 2 onto card stoock. Cut out the individual cards and give them to each student. These cards are the SPEAKING SECTION of the activity. Then copy page 3, and give one chart to each student. This is the WRITING PORTION of the activity.
Students will circulate around the room, finding 10 different partners to have conversations with. Because the individual cards have answers on them, students can correct each other instead of relying on their teacher. After their conversation (one question each), students write down their partner's name, the question they asked, and what they learned about their partner. Lastly, they change cards before moving to a different partner.
Example in English :
Partner A : Do you have a brother?
Partner B : Yes, I have two brothers.
Partner A writes : She has two brothers.
