This product is designed to be assembled as an anchor poster in the classroom. It was made using a thinking map called a Bridge Map, which identifies relationships. Thinking Maps are a great organizational tool for students. The relationships identified by this map are ancient civilizations and a famous structure from each. I have this map displayed in my 6th grade classroom all year long. Students are often referring to it to see what civilization we will study next.
Simply cut out each of the pictures and their corresponding titles and civilizations and glue them to a long piece of construction paper. The picture of the structure is placed above the bridge and the civilizations is placed below. Please see the picture for an example.
