You have 45 clock hours to teach Art History – where do you go from here? Easy – use my 19th and 20th century art history PowerPoints! Each eye-catching slide in the 19th Century PowerPoint gives a brief definition of a major art-movement including; Neo-Classicism, Romanticism, Realism, Symbolism, Post-Impressionism, Neo-Impressionism and Art-Nouveau. The slides also include the most-famous artists involved in that art-movement as well as one of their famous works.
Once you have gone over the most-noted 19th and 20th Century art movements using my PowerPoints – have each student pick an art-movement from a hat and have them create a 10 page colorful PowerPoint presentation equipped with key information that they will present to the class. I even have my students recreate a piece of art from the time period they are reporting on.
Your time-constraints to teach this class are solved! I have also developed a final test that showcases the test question in the notes portion of each slide, making this PowerPoint a great study tool for your students! Look for my corresponding Art-History final test, answer key and FREE student study guide on my page! You can also click on the links below.
