PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This packet contains two projects that can be used to assess students' understanding of important people in history and their impact on American culture, specifically from the eras of WWI and the 1920s. The two projects are a biography and a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation. There is a detailed information page for each, outline of how students should organize their projects, grading rubric for each, and a note-taking graphic organizer for research that works for both projects.

This product has been updated in Feb. 2017 to include a Google Classroom option. You can assign student directions and rubrics for each of the project options. Students can either create a Google doc or Google Slides presentation. You can then assign them a Google sheet that will be used to score their product.

The following people are included in the list of famous Americans, but there is also space to additional people:
Langston Hughes
Babe Ruth
Henry Ford
Charles Lindbergh
Herbert Hoover
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Duke Ellington
Margaret Mitchell
