This lesson unit contains instructions and grading criteria for the “Journal” research project. Students pick a famous (or infamous) person living or dead and write a 'journal' in first person point of view. The trick is, they have ten research topics they have to cover such biography, rival, fashion, world events, etc. In the end, they'll have a ten page research project. This has been a student favorite for many years. I've had people get ambitious and do Jesus and Julius Caesar or stick to more modern personalities like Oprah or Paris Hilton. A student example is included.
