Students are naturally curious about our world, so what better way to spark their curiosity than by allowing them to dig deeper and learn more about landmarks and monuments that are known worldwide for their history, background, and uniqueness? This graphic organizer has bullet points so that students can briefly list important facts and information they find, then rewrite it using their own words when publishing their work. It also allows them to draw detailed pictures that align with informational text (captions, labels, diagrams, etc.). After completing their research, I plan on having students create a poster with this information by typing out the information and inserting the two pictures they drew, along with one image they find on the internet (for their title).
-Draw a picture of landmark (label)
-Draw a picture of where landmark is located
