Here are my 'outside the box' teaching notes for imparfait. This is a 10 page document including overhead visuals and detailed teaching notes of what to do with them to have kids remember this rather imperfect tense. It is -only- a set of creative tricks that I use to teach this tense and help them keep it and its formation straight from other tenses.
I only have 1 worksheet, a quiz or two, and lots of teaching tricks notations. All of this is focused on the process of teaching and learning imparfait that I have come up with in 20+ years of teaching it.
My small print on this one and -one- other upcoming listing of mine:
This is something a student teacher told me I 'must' sell for the sanity of French teachers everywhere. Sorry for my reluctance to let it go all over free, but I've had others claim my unique and crazy ideas as their own which is hurtful, so don't plan to pass this one around to other colleagues as a funny freebee! It is just a special set of notes for you to buy that I hope will make your life easier. I don't feel it is worth $30 from a foreign language teaching catalog but it would probably be a collection of pages a creative thinker would try from one. Being able to have half of minimum wage or so for each person who benefits from it helps me to list it! Teach it with enthusiasm and a bit of humor and you should get the same great results I do. I hope this saves you years of frustration teaching this concept!
