Fantasy Adventure Writing Unit

This is an epic fantasy adventure writing unit designed to generate a lot of student writing. The 17 mini-lessons can each create multiple days of writing, so this unit can last four to six weeks (or more). Highly involved or interested students could even complete short novels. My fifth grade students typically produce 25 typed pages of writing, with 122 pages being the longest story. This resource would be perfect for an elective class in creative writing, or for gifted and talented students interested in writing.
