This is a complete unit I use in Algebra class to teach formulas and statistics based on real life professional football.
Students draft their own teams based on a budget and each week they have to research and find the statistics for each player on their team. Once they have done that, they use formulas to figure out the points earned by each player to get a team total.
Students compete against each other for bragging rights and bonus points each week.
You get a powerpoint, worksheets, posters and an overview of the project with your download.
This is a high interest activity that will keep kids engaged from start to finish and your students will be begging to do Fantasy Football!
