2 mini books (informational readers) to teach your primary students about farm animals. Both books are a cut and paste book. The first book is titled Baby Animals on the Farm. On each page is a mother animal that lives on the farm. Students will trace the name of her baby and then glue a picture of the baby onto each page. The second book is titled Who is in the Barn? On each page students will read who is in the barn. They will then glue a door onto the barn so they can open the door and look inside. This comes in black and white and in color. For the color version you can glue the doors onto the barn or leave them off. There is also a worksheet for students to sort farm animals vs animals that do not live on a farm. The preview shows almost every page of the file. Please download it before buying so you know exactly what is included.
These would work well for guided reading, small groups, literacy centers or whole group.
