Practice adding and subtracting Combinations of 10 with these twelve cute task cards! Problems are written in a variety of formats, including missing addends and comparisons (how many more than?).
These would be great for partner work at a math center, so early readers can support each other with reading the story problems.
Students should show their work and record their answers on the answer sheet. I included two options. One sheet has blank boxes, providing room for pictures or equations. The other answer sheet has a ten frame in each box, if you want students to practice that strategy specifically.
The resource includes:
-One example of how to solve with a ten frame
-12 task cards (you will want to cut them apart)
-2 Recording Sheets (one blank and one with ten frames)
-2 Answer Keys (one with answers and one blank to model how to solve)
I hope your students enjoy this resource! Please leave feedback and follow me for more great resources!
