Farming Challenge Board Game (First Nations vs. Settlers)

Farming Challenge Board Game (First Nations vs. Settlers)
Product Description
In this treaty related board game, players learn the hardships of farming in the Canadian prairies from the First Nations' perspective. Students will benefit most from this game if they first learn about the pass and permit systems as well as about Indian Agents put in place by the Indian Act. The basis of this game is that the permit system was created in order to hinder First Nation's ability to succeed as farmers because they were "unfair competition for settler farmers".
