This is a fun event where students get into groups of four and dress of two students to make a fashion show. Students then write paragraphs describing their two models. Afterwards, students describe their models as they walk the runway (preferably with a techno music backdrop), and the spectators write notes about each look and their opinions on the looks.
This is a comprehensive activity that practices writing paragraphs with detail about clothing, presenting information in Spanish, synthesizing visual information and giving written opinions, and having a crap ton of fun. There is production and reception of Spanish and much practice with the themes and vocabulary of modas and clothes. Best for Spanish 1,2,3 and works well with Realidades 2 3b.
