PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity is great for students to practice conversions from U.S. Standard into the Metric System. Students will create a meal by selecting food items on a menu from a fictitious fast food restaurant, Conversion Burger. Next, they will use the nutritional guide to report the amounts of total fat, sodium, and sugars given in pounds (U.S. Standard). Then students will convert those number into the metric system. Once finished students will measure out into weigh boats the amount of total fat (lard), sodium (table salt), and sugars (sugar) they would have ingested in that meal.
