Fast Food and Nutrition BUNDLE

With this bundle, students will learn about the biochemical makeup of some of their favorite foods.

In the Fast Food Analysis activity, students will examine the macronutrients they need per day, then compare that with the macronutrients found in their favorite fast food meal. They will then work to make a healthier version of that meal to better fit their dietary and nutritional needs. The Fast Food Analysis also includes a short 2 minute hook video to introduce the activity.

In the Food Analysis activities (Proteins, Fats, and Carbohydrates), students will read a passage about the selected macronutrient, then apply their knowledge in a short application activity.

These activities are appropriate for grades 5-8, and can also be purchased separately above. The activity and reading materials can also be used for biology classes as a refresher of topics covered at the middle school level.
