Students will work collaboratively to find the average acceleration for each car. Students will begin with lesson warm-up that has also been provided. Students will each be given one of 4 cards and work with other members that have the same card as theirs. One member from each group will then present how they found their slope to the class. Teacher will follow through with reviewing rest of questions on student worksheet. Teacher will then consider a Porsche with data from a table and how students could find the y-intercept and slope. Students would then work with a partner to solve problems that include identifying slope and the y-intercept from a graph and table.
