: Craftivity card activity. Students create a toolbox for dad. This can be something you use with another project or it can be the gift itself.
**** Please note... if your students have a tough time fitting writing into a given space (such as the tool pieces) this may not be the activity for you. :-) The tools could only be so big, so I was somewhat limited in the space I could provide when I had the idea to make this specific activity. For my 4th graders it seems to have worked just fine.

Father's Day Craftivity, cont.
All pages are included, so no construction paper is needed. BUT, you could print the box and tools on colored paper if you wanted. If not, kids just color the white paper, which is what I prefer. Easy and fun.
Students create the cover of the toolbox. Cursive and print are available. The cover says, "Happy Father's Day". On the inside page for the toolbox, it says "...to a dad with all the right tools."
There is a sheet of tools with a gift tag. Several choices of tools are available. One has some sentence starters , and the other is a full blank sheet. There are also choices available with dotted lines for younger kids or kids that struggle with cutting. The students then color and glue the tools to the inside of the toolbox.
Dads will love opening their toolbox and reading what the kids had to say. It will bring a smile to any dad's face. :-)
