This Father's Day Craftivity can be personalized to look like Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, or Brother. Does Dad wear a tie? Put one on. Does Grandpa wear a bow tie? Add one. Maybe Dad never wears a tie. Add two collar buttons instead! Then color it all with stripes or plaid or whatever you like to personalize it for Father's Day.
Students also complete sentences inside the Father's Day flipbook to show how well they know Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, or Brother, and why they are thankful for him. The picture on the back page turned out so well - I was amazed at what a good job my students did in personalizing them.
Please look at the preview to see the directions, and what the inside flaps look like. My third graders loved this Father's Day project, and could complete it themselves after I read the directions. Younger students will need help with folding the collar and stapling it down.
I hope your students enjoy this Father's Day Gift Card Craftivity! (We are done with school at the end of May, but we do a Father's Day gift card every year, so Dad doesn't get left out!)
Happy Father's Day,
Denise from Light Bulbs and Laughter
