Two Cards to print, cut, and laminate for Dad, Uncle, Grandfather, Big Brother or Mother.
1 - A Google Search Page Card for the following phrase "World's Greatest Dad" Inside the card the student can write their father's full name to a Search Results Theme. They draw a picture of their father and write a sentence about him. After that it's ready to laminate. (modifications available for uncle, grandfather, big brother, and mom)
2 - A smartphone outline card. I take a picture of my students holding the classroom phone to their ear as though they were making a call. Then, I glue that picture into the card before laminating. Last, I add a magnetic strip to the back so parents can display it on the refrigerator.
Once both cards are complete, I place both inside a decorated paper bag cut and glued around the top to simulate a man's dress shirt. The directions page has a photo sample to help guide you.
Enclosed in the packet are master copies of a man's tie to use as an outline to cut out and glue to the outside of the paper bag.
Also enclosed in the file is a TO: ____ FROM: ______ label to glue on the reverse side of the paper bag. The to/from label has a cute father's day picture to color.
So excited to do this project with my class asap. See the pictures in the new thumbnails above or on my blogpost
