This final project on Faulkner's As I Lay Dying contains six very different options to cater to the varied interests and talents of students. Whether they choose to create a novel soundtrack, put together an artistic project focusing on a single character, write a portion of the novel from another character's perspective, design a poetry coffee table book inspired by the text, teach part of a class as "Teacher for the Day" or stick with the standard formal paper, students will have a chance to engage in their own way.
Within the packet you'll find an educator's guide, the project handout with specifics on all six options, and a rubric you may choose to use to grade the projects if you wish.
