This two-page document provides a five-step activity in which students will ask each other's favorite colors and use their findings to create a graph.
First, students fill in a useful vocabulary section. Then, they are to walk around and ask 12 classmates their favorite color, recording names and colors. Next, students write total number of people who chose each color--in words, not digits (a great way to reinforce!). With these totals, students create graphs to show their findings--they can color code them, if they'd like. Finally, students answer three questions about their survey results.
This is great for early Spanish learners or as a quick refresher for upper level students. The activity encourages the use of the target language in a low pressure setting.
