Product Description
This product includes a collection of 4 activities that can be used with food items to practice identifying even and odd numbers, bundling 1's to make 10's, and bundling 10's to make 100's. Each activity comes with teacher directions, student spinners, and students recording sheets. The even and odd activities also include a sorting sheet. Below is a description of each activity.

Fishy Even or Odd Activity
Students are given Goldfish Crackers, paperclips, Tank Spinner, Fishy Recording Sheet, and a Fishy Sorter Sheet. Students use their pencils and paperclips on the spinner wheel. Whatever number they land on, they get that many Goldfish out of their bags. They sort the Goldfish into the two tanks on the Fishy Sorter Sheet. Next they write the number they tested on their Fish Recording Sheets and color the correct fish to tell whether the number is even or odd.

Gumball Even or Odd Activity
Students are given M&M's (gumballs), paperclips, Gumball Machine Spinner, Gumball Recording Sheet, and a Gumball Sorter Sheet. Students use their pencils and paperclips on the spinner wheel. Whatever number they land on, they get that many M&M's out of their bags. They sort the M&M's into the two gumball machines on the Gumball Sorter Sheet. Next they write the number they tested on their Gumball Recording Sheets and circle whether the number is even or odd.

Bundling Cheezy Ones to Make Tens
Students are given Cheez-Its, a Place Value Spinner, a paperclip, and a Recording Sheet. Students place their paperclips on the center of their spinners and thump to spin. Whatever number they land on, they get that many Cheez-Its out of their bags. They write that number in the first blank on the Recording Sheet. Next they bundle their Cheez-Its into groups of 10’s. Then they record how many tens and ones they have in the 2nd and 3rd blanks. The bottom blank is for what the full number is in standard form. Students continue spinning and filling out their Response Sheets for all 6 problems.

Bundling Salty Tens to Make Hundreds
