PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"Happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife." Franz Schubert (Austrian composer ~ 1797 - 1828)

Based on a true event from World War II, this film relates the story of a group of German Aryan women married to Jewish men who are rounded up and held in a building on Rosenstraße, facing deportation and probable death. The women staged protests to have their husbands freed.

But would anyone listen to them ?

Included here are:
1. An introductory overhead with some background information
2. A Film-Fragen sheet with 20 questions in English
3. An answer key for the English question sheet
4. A Film-Fragen sheet with the 20 questions in German for upper level students
5. An answer key for the German question sheet.

Having students select from multiple choice answers allows

more time for their eyes to stay on the film (and not spend

it looking down writing out answers) and, thus, not miss

important moments in the film.

This film can be used as enrichment to a topic or as a substitute lesson plan (or emergency lesson plan).

Everything is ready-to-use. (7 pages)

Please Note
This film is one of ten in my 'Movie * Pac For German ~ Set 2' (which contains the Film-Fragen in English only).
