I developed this resource for primary students to learn about the keys parts of a newspapers article, namely: headline, byline, hook, body, photographs and captions. The first two pages of this resource are to be used by students when they are looking at a newspaper article. There are short and simple questions that will explain the key features and allow them to identify these. The third and final page is a series a series of definition of the key features which can be printed and displayed around the classroom. I've deliberately saved this as a Word document so teachers can add their own colours and images as it suits their unit.
