Product Description
A crucial part of the Common Core ELA standards entails understanding the difference between narrative and expository text. Many of the Reading and Informational Text standards reflect each other, and require students to understand the difference.
This set of differentiated task cards address features of expository text. They are designed for three tiers of work. The first tier is to help students build basic knowledge and comprehension. The second tier is for student to apply and analyze features. The third tier requires students to think about synthesizing and evaluating features. These cards can be used for independent work, small groups, or whole class depending on your needs.
