This February Activity Pack is everything you need leading up to Valentine's Day!
Included are five cartoon writing prompts that kids love to fill out. These are a great way to teach or cement dialogue writing. Not only does the student have to fill in the voice bubble but then they have to write out the dialogue in their story. "I got you a Valentine," said Ralph, the Snowman.
Three versions of a Valentine wordsearch are included. This allows kids at different levels to all be working on the same project. The hardest one has the word "love" in a variety of other languages. Amor!
Every year I use butterflies for something. This is the year of Valentine Butterflies! In a perfect world I would get the biggest sheets of paper I could find and draw each student their own personal butterfly. I'm afraid you will have to do with an 8.x11 printable or two. If you cut them out you can use pipe cleaners to make awesome antenna.
There are also two versions of Valentine crowns to wear to that incredible Valentine Party you were trying to decide about. With fun crowns to make and a fun wall of Valentine Butterflies, with treat boxes and bookmarks how could you even consider NOT throwing a Valentine party?!
