I created this teaching resource to use with morning calendar activities. The calendar keepers are designed to fit in your calendar pocket chart. The keepers are in an abac pattern of valentine, Washington, valentine, Lincoln. They measure 3.25" x 3.25". Included is the month title: February, days of the week - both written out and in abbreviation form. Years are : 2018 - 2022. Everything you need to place in your pocket chart to teach numbers, patterns and repetition. Math and literacy pages are included within the theme of February.
These calendar keepers are easy to download, print and place in your pocket chart.

Calendar activities include:

Build a snap-clap-snap-tap pattern for February.
Cut out your calendar keepers in squares to fit your pocket chart.
Valentine, Washington, Valentine, Lincoln…primary age children can learn patterns so quickly using calendar activities.
Use the calendar grid for February for children to make their own calendar for February. Number writing practice. and if ready, make their own pattern.
Handwriting practice for days of the week
Make a weather graph for February
Count and Tally page for practice - February Theme
Daily number sense and calendar number work page can easily be assigned for morning work
Integrate phonics with calendar [word families -ake, -ice and -in]
