Fall in love with Choice Boards! Have you been looking for a way to provide more student voice and choice in your classroom? This is a great way to help students take ownership of their learning, while at the same time .
Your students will have so much fun working on these activities about weird and wacky holidays in February that they won't even realize they are learning!
Please click the green PREVIEW button to see a complete look at the February Holidays Choice Board!
The February Choice Board includes 8 creative activities for students to choose from (based on the 8 multiple intelligences). Each activity references a national holiday that takes place in February. Choice Boards are great for early finishers, but can also work in a center rotation, or as independent work during your reading workshop time. You decide how many activities you want your students to complete, making differentiation a snap!
This is also a great idea to send home as monthly homework! My students' families loved working on these Choice Boards as an alternative to traditional (boring) worksheets.
