Description

FEBRUARY FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES will get students tracing, cutting, using a hole puncher, working with play dough, and more! These monthly task cards and activities are easy to prepare and simple to use.

You can use the FEBRUARY FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES during small groups, in busy boxes, in morning work tubs, and for Table Time. This engaging packet has a fun Valentine’s Day theme as well as cute Fairy Tale characters to last the whole month long!

FEBRUARY FINE MOTOR PRACTICE ACTIVITIES includes:

  • Tracing Paths to help students practice tracing horizontal, diagonal, wavy, and zig-zag lines. Includes full color and black & white pages.
  • Tracing Cards have eight seasonal & themed shapes to trace. Kids absolutely love these when you put them on a book ring with a dry erase marker in the writing center!
  • Snipping Strips will be helpful for young students who are working on mastering scissors. Fun printable strips have young learners “snip” short lines and cut with a single motion.
  • Pre-Writing Cards include all the basic strokes needed to make letters and numbers.
  • Cutting Practice Sheets are simple pages to get students cutting. Great for keeping in a student portfolio to document progress, too!
  • Hole Punch Cards give students the opportunity to use a different fine motor device! These Hole Punch Cards help strengthen small muscles and are fun to lace, too!
  • Play Dough Paths are for rolling play dough into long, thin strips and following a simple path. You can also use these mats with a dry erase marker for even more fine motor practice!
  • Fine Motor Mats are always a class favorite! Use the Color mats with pom poms, small manipulatives, mini erasers, or balls of playdough. The Black & White printable mats work great with dot markers, small stickers, and watercolors. So much fun!

Preschool, PreK, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students will benefit from having the regular fine motor practice this resource provides.

Perfect for the classroom and at home!
