Identifying basic parts of speech seems to be a tricky skill for most kids. Learning the difference between nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs is something that students need to know in order to become better writers. Providing a spiral review like these Grammar Files will be an invaluable resource to have in your classroom!
Other parts of speech like prepositions and pronouns will be added to the practice pages as the months go on. This allows the students to focus on the 4 basic parts first, before adding additional skills.
You'll get 15 ready to print practice pages that provide a spiral review for students to identify nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Each page contains 10 sentences where students identify parts of speech
This month's version includes a SECOND option that is BLANK! In this option, students simply search for words in the sentences and identify their part of speech. Great for modifications!
