Yes that's right, it's a MATH Writing Station! My kids need lots of consistency this year and they LOVE the writing station during literacy stations. So why not have one for math?!?
Included in this February themed Math Station are the following activities:
~ Writing a List - Students will write a list and then add up the items
~ Count the objects in the picture (2 papers)
~ Writing Numbers 1-20- Students will trace and write the numbers and number words (20 pages)
~ Math Stories - Students will spin a wheel to get a number and another wheel with objects. They will write a math story using what they spin (3 differentiated paper choices and 4 themed wheels - Valentine's Day, Groundhog Day, Presidential, Dental Heath )
~ Math Journal Cover - There is a color and black and white cover option
~ Math Journals - Theses are printed 26 to a page. 3 patterns, 5 addition, 5 subtraction, tens and ones, more/less, positional shapes,writing numbers
~ Color by the number (2 pages 1-5, 6-10)
~Count and match (2 pages 1-5, 6-10)
There are "I Can" task cards for each component.
