Morning Work for the YEAR {Third Grade}

The pages are all similar, so children can get used to practicing the skills and should be able to do them independently. This gives you time to prepare for the day!

Skills practiced each day:
(Each page contains the following sections)

1. Write the date

2. Mass and Capacity: Follow the directions to answer questions about mass and capacity.

3. Multiplication: Roll a die and multiply by the number given.

4. Addition and Subtraction in the thousands: solve.

5. Number Words: Read the words and write the number.

6. Rounding Numbers: Round the numbers by 10, 100, or 1,000. Write the number in the heart.

7. There, Their, They’re: Read the sentence and choose the correct word.

8. Prefixes: Add the given prefix to each word and write a likely definition.

9. Alliterative Sentences: Use the letter given to write an alliterative sentence. Some words are provided for assistance.

10. Fact Sentences: Cut and paste the words to make a sentence. (Facts about Mars)
